Diocese of Madison

God calls priests in a unique way to be spiritual leaders and dedicate their lives to the Church. It is essential that our Diocese nurture the pastoral care of those discerning this call. Through the Foundation, donors can help give financial security for those who are seeking to become consecrated servants of Christ’s Church.

The endowment emboldens the men being called to the priesthood by supporting recruitment, education, and formation of the seminarians studying to serve the Diocese of Madison.  We are grateful for the gracious support the people of the diocese have shown.  Join me in praying for the dedicated young men studying to be future shepherds of our Church.

Fr. Greg Ihm,

Vocations Director

Priests for Our Future puts emphasis on the increasing need for vocations in the Diocese of Madison. This allows formation of seminarians in the four pillars of priestly formation: the human, the intellectual, the spiritual, and the pastoral. Donate to the campaign for seminary education.

As a seminarian and now living out my vocation as a priest, I am eternally grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support we seminarians  have received from the incredible people of the diocese. For me, it has personally fostered a deeper love for Jesus Christ and  a greater excitement to give my life in service as a priest.

Ordained June 2020

Established by a generous gift from an anonymous donor, the Queen of Apostles Vocation Fund honors the tradition of the Pallottine religious order and the former seminary once located in Madison, Wisconsin.

The fund provides tuition support for the education of men preparing to be priests of the Diocese of Madison.
