Ways to Give

The CDMF aims to make giving easier. Whether it be giving to an existing fund or establishing a new fund, we are here to help you steward your gift. We believe every gift is a grace-filled opportunity. Listed below are some suggested ways to make a gift, however we are happy to discuss with you the best way to fulfill your philanthropic needs.

Establishing a fund is easier than you think. The CDMF strives to make the process simple. Both endowed and non-endowed funds allow you to name your fund, define the beneficiary, and outline the intended uses of your gift. Many individuals give in support of their parish, school, or another Catholic ministry that played an important part in their faith and life.

New funds can be established with a gift of at least $25,000.  Once you determine the beneficiary of your gift, we work with you to maximize the value of your contribution by using a gift source that best fits your situation.

Making a cash gift is an easy way to contribute. However, there are a number of other ways to give that may provide you with added benefits.  Please contact the CDMF at 608-821-3048 to provide you with instructions on how to transfer these types of assets to the Foundation:

  •  Securities

  •  Mutual Fund Shares

  •  IRA Distributions

Planned gifts are an excellent way for many people to make a much larger gift than they imagined possible.  Consider if making a gift in the future may be the right option for you.

Maybe you want to make a gift that provides you with income during your life, and benefits a fund at your death - some charitable gift options can provide you with that benefit.  Or, you may want to use your estate to grow or establish a fund in the future.  We can help you consider options that meet your individual needs by helping you make a planned gift.  For more information on any of these planned gift options, please contact the CDMF at 608-821-3048 and we would be happy to talk with you and your advisor to create the best plan for you.
